I don’t have to worry about it, it just works! Amazing.

Everything works flawlessly. I love Magnet.
I’ve been using Magnet for a couple of days now, and (like some other reviewers) I find myself accidentally triggering the window positions when I don’t mean to and am just repositioning a window temporarily. BUT the keystrokes are incredibly useful and fast, and learning those so they are pure muscle-memory will make this thing fly. Very intuitive selection of those keyboard combinations, by the way. Cheap and great. Keep it up!
There’s a reason it costs a buck. I want my dollar back!
This app is slow but is acceptable for the low price. The snap of Top and Bottom area do not work and like I mentioned is slow and that is annoying.
My only reason for wanting this app was so I could go from one adobe app to another. Like lightroom to Photoshop and have them side by side. Well the APP does not support Adobe products. Just so you know in advance.
Much easier to manage screen position and size than OS X. Makes working in multiple windows quick and easy.
Totally, it is great !
I have a MacBook Pro Retina from 2012, and I’m running OS X Mavericks. This app just doesn’t work for me. Applications will show a box where they ought to snap to, but they don’t actually do the snap correctly. Often, they move a little bit on the screen, and that’s all. I would not recommend this application.
So I bought this because of the high praise it received. People are talking about this like its God in the flesh. I do tons of multi tasking. Im a video/photo editor and sometimes motion and graphic designer. So this seemed like it would be great. Then I opend up some Adobe apps and noticed it did not function with it at all. So right out of the gate I wasnt to happy. Also dont expect it to function well with any window that doesn’t hang on to its ratio when you scale the window down. So if you make Safari take up four corners you’ll have to scroll left and right as well. Split screen is still better in my opionion because it will keep the ratio. So its worth a try but deffinitly not that fantastic. If it had cost more than a buck I would have been pretty upset.
This application doesn’t support all programs that need a full window to function such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Besides, it would be almost impossible to work efficiently in those types of programs using half the space unless you have a massive monitor. The application works perfectly fine and is very easy to use. I am very happy with the product and I would recommend it to anyone interesting in managing their open windows more easily.
I never liked the functionality of window positioning/placement for Macs, and Ive always been a huge fan of the way Windows 7 lets you easily choose window position and placement. FINALLY, someone with a brain, made this awesome app that does exactly that. I just only got it and love it so far with no issues. I don’t understand why Apple couldn’t have this already installed. THANK YOU CREATOR! KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK! :)
App is great and all the reviews are right. The only thing I wish it had is the ability to turn the corner touching on and off. I have so many windows moving in every direction for my business that I tap the center top a lot. So with this app I mostly use a F16-F19 keys to trigger. Also if there was a way to have 3/4 + 1/4 size. I tend to put Messenger smaller than Chrome, Evernote, etc. Thanks for the awesome app!
This is an absolute must have. Why Mac OS does not do this already is beyond me.
The only things I would ask for are the ability to selectively turn off the auto-snap when moving windows manually and for it to resize (same width and height as when I snap to an edge) when I snap to the center. Otherwise it is in constant use all day and I wonder how I did without it.
This app does exactly what I need. It has multiple configurations (half and quarter screen snapping) and keyboard shortcuts. The latter is very important for power users like me. That said, I noticed one minor quirk. Sometimes when I use keyboard shortcut to move a window from one side of the screen to another, say from left to right, the window goes back to its original size and location and I have to use keyboard shortcut a second time to finally move it to the right side. This only happened sometimes. Finally I wish this app allows me to tile 3 or more windows vertically or horizontally, like Windows has natively. Very useful for extra wide screen like mine. I understand that the app does not advertise this capability but I do wish it does, and Im willing to pay (more) for it when it finally does.
The app is easy to work and looks great!
Installed this app just for window snapping, and it does just that! The keyboard shortcuts are also very useful.
It was always a pain trying to organize my windows. El Capitan had a way to do it, and it was OK, but Magnet got it right. I use Magnet all the time and it is the best Mac app purchase I made.
Big fan. Mucho gusto. Would love a button to partition all windows on screen in a particular format. Not that picky though, it works great.
